Rachel Avery: Photographer & Creative Visionary

Rachel Avery is a seasoned photographer with over a decade of experience, capturing the world through a lens since 2010. As a creator, she has dedicated herself to turning the magical visions in her imagination into stunning visual narratives.

Rachel’s journey in photography began with a passion for blending technology and creativity, leading her to found Fotoskribe, a blogging service for photographers, in 2013. She successfully grew the platform before selling it to ShootDotEdit in 2017. This experience further fueled her desire to use storytelling and light to help others tell their stories.

In 2022, Rachel launched Moon Rae Portraits, a photography venture focused on fantasy portraiture. Here, she brings to life whimsical worlds through the power of lighting, costume design, and creative collaboration. Her photography allows clients to step into their favorite characters, capturing their stories in ways that feel both ethereal and real.

Rachel's approach is deeply rooted in understanding her clients' desires, using her skills in posing, lighting, and storytelling to make their visions tangible.
